Easy Blonde Brownies

last night i baked this blonde brownies, it was rich and chewy

Ingredients 

  • ▢1 cup all purpose flour
  • ▢1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ▢1/4 teaspoon salt
  • ▢1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • ▢1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ▢1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ▢2 tablespoons milk
  • ▢1 egg

Instructions 

  • Preheat your oven to 350F degrees. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or shortening and set it aside.
  • In a small bowl  (affiliate link), whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well blended and set it aside.
  • In a medium size saucepan, melt the butter on low heat. Remove from the heat and with a whisk orwooden spoon  (affiliate link), stir in the brown sugar, vanilla, milk and egg until creamy and well blended.
  • Add the flour mixture and stir until just combined then stir in up to 1 cup total of any optional additions.
  • Spread batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out almost clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack.
  • Cut into 16 squares.
